Century College Men's Soccer Team Moves on to District C Championship!

Century Men's Soccer advanced to the NJCAA Region 13 Final after beating Riverland CC 6-0. In the final, Century College faced off with cross-town and regional rival, Anoka-Ramsey CC. Century College scored six minutes into the game. Sophomore Forward Zach Wilmes of Cottage Grove, MN,  got on the end of a cross, played by Kirk Garrity (Freshman, Right Winger from Manchester, England) and directed to the corner of the far post. Anoka-Ramsey goalkeeper had no chance of making the save.

Despite having a few more clear-cut chances to extend their lead, Century College held strong defensively the rest of the match to preserve the 1-0 win. The win gives the Century College Men's Soccer team back-to-back Region 13 titles (2013,2014). The team will now focus their efforts to the District C Championship (October 31-November 1), in which they hope to defend that title as well.
